MAROON To Release 'Order' In April

February 17, 2009

German modern metal machine MAROON has set "Order" as the title for the follow-up to 2007's "The Cold Heart Of The Sun", due in April via Century Media Records. The CD was recorded at Klangschmiede Studio E (EISREGEN, THE VISION BLEAK, SECRETS OF THE MOON) and is being mixed at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden by Fredrik Nordström (ARCH ENEMY, AT THE GATES, DARK TRANQUILLITY). The mastering duties will be handled at West West Side Studios (MASTODON, UNEARTH, EARTH CRISIS) in New Windsor, New York.

The German edition of Metal Hammer magazine has now released a video report from the studio where MAROON recorded the new CD, including a few samples of the new music.

MAROON's video for the song "(Reach) The Sun" can be viewed below. The track comes off "The Cold Heart Of The Sun", which was released in October 2007 via Century Media Records. The drums were recorded at the Hansen Studios in Denmark by Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, NEAERA, FEAR MY THOUGHTS, VOLBEAT),who also handled the mixing and mastering duties. The other instruments and vocals were laid down at the Rape Of Harmonies studio in Germany with Ralf Müller, Patrick W. Engel and Alexander Dietz (HEAVEN SHALL BURN).
